Omni-directional and Hemispherical Antennas

The CO4 and CHO2 are circular polarised omni-directional antennas with 360 degree coverage in the horizontal plane. The compact size makes both antennas particularly suitable for use with wireless cameras and other situations where freedom of movement is important.

The CHO2 differs from the CO4 in that it has a hemispherical radiation pattern, which makes it particularly suitable for transmission to and from helicopters.

Mountings can be supplied for cameras and backpacks, or to suit particular customer requirements.

Helix Antennas
These antennas have been developed to help combat multipath propagation when used as a directional transmitting or receiving antenna. The Helix is a proven design with good axial ratio characteristics and high directivity, ideally suited for all ENG, fixed or mobile applications.

Parabolic Antennas

A range of feeds are available from 0.8GHz to 24GHz with spun aluminium reflectors from 0.3m to 1.2m. These are ideal for portable point-to-point and long distance outside broadcast applications.

Patch Antennas
PA series circular polarised antennas have been developed as a discrete alternative to rods and dishes. The main advantages are low weight and minimal wind loading. Typical applications are ground-air-ground transmissions from on-board cameras, or point to point transmissions where mast head loading is an issue

Switchable Antennas
The SSA antenna is designed specifically for reception from mobile and airborne transmitters. This unique 5 sector array provides north, south, east, west and vertical coverage. It can be supplied with manual switching or 'intelligent' autotrack control options. The complete antenna is housed in a single GRP shroud suitable for fixed or portable installation.

Fan Beam Antennas
The FB10 and FB13 are patch antennas providing 90 degrees sector coverage and high gain. They are commonly installed on sides of buildings with a remote switching unit to provide full north, south, east, west coverage with minimal multipath distortion for central receivers. However, single units are ideal for field use. Standard mounting is to a 50mm o.d. pole but others are available to suit customer requirements.

Colinear Antennas

COL series antennas provide full 360 degree coverage with relatively high gain. This makes them ideal as a cost effective central receive antenna in low multipath surroundings or as a transmit antenna in specialised mobile applications.
CPCOL antennas offer circular polarisation which allows operation in medium multipath surroundings. They are therefore suitable for short to medium range helicopter air to ground transmissions.

Horn Antennas

These are available in a variety of designs to suit specific customer requirements with either conventional or stripline construction for minimum size and weight. Typical applications are hand held mobile or short range point-to-point transmissions in frequency bands above 10GHz.
