| Dubai World Cup - A Perfect Win Pleasantly Perfect, ridden by Alex Solis, won the $6m (£3.3m) Dubai World Cup, the world's richest horse race, at Nad Al Sheba on Saturday.

| la télévision Algérienne Acceptance Tests A second group of engineers from ENTV have recently visited Gigawave to carry out acceptance tests on the new Gigawave MVL-D digital link, which is available at frequencies in the7GHz band.
The new MVL-D is designed to work in QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM modes. It also offers ASI, SDI, and composite video inputs/outputs; four audio channels, and a host of additional features.
