Over six thousand Government Officials, Army Officers, veteran soldiers, and civilians attended the 57 th South Korean ‘Armed Forces Day’ at Gyeryongdae, in Chungnam province.
Many of the people who applied to attend the ceremony were descendants of war heros who fought for independence. Together with other invited guests, children of Nack Island and soldiers of Korea's Zaytun Unit, embraced the Korean President and American soldiers who had participated in the war.

Before the main ceremony, the 6000 guests observed a few moments silence as a token of respect for the soldiers who had died during the war. The cameraman also used the D-Cam on his shoulder for close up shots.

The Guard of honour was followed by a demonstration of Taekwondo by Korean soldiers and an air display.
